Synchronicity

One of the best ways I know of to check if you are walking the green line of the heart is to watch for the synchronicity events during your day. Examples are probably the best way to explain this idea. As I move through my days, I am presented with a million tiny decisions. While they may seem inconsequential, they are not. Each one is a step on the path of the heart, the path that I have chosen. But living in America in the 21st century is a path of the head, and it takes continual attention to make decisions from the heart, at least for me. When I meet the second or third person in a row that has the name of my beloved, when first one, then two, then three blue cars pass me while I am pondering my relationship to water, when I turn the corner at the lake at the moment the one I most want to see is strolling by with a friend, I know I'm on the right track.

And when nothing is easy, nothing is working and I am frustrated with everyone and everything, ESPECIALLY MYSELF, if I can remember to pause and look back to where things started to go awry, I can repair the separation from the green line. I can return to that point in time and make a different choice: change my behavior, change my mind, change my intention. CHANGE ME. And then I can fall back onto the green line of the heart. If this is the correct point of error, synchronicity will return almost immediately. If it does not, I need to try again to find my misstep. Eventually I will find the place that puts me back in step with the Universe, with the Divine, with my own compass for this journey of life,

my own green heart line.
